Soak channa dal for 4 to 5 hours
In a bowl add plain flour turmeric powder and salt to taste .add water in small amount and knead until the dough become soft
Then add oil little by little to make the dough smooth and soft and it should be slightly sticky also
After the dough become soft pour half cup sesame oil over it and make sure the dough is completely covered with oil
Keep it for one hour minimum
Cook chana dal in pressure cooker for 2 whistles
Add water as needed
Open the cooker and drain thr excess water from it
Mash the cooked chana dal in a pan and add sugar
Keep on stirring in medium flame until the mixture becomes thick an all sugar is absorbed to the dal
Let it cool for some time
Now make balls out of the chana sugar mix and keep it aside
Then take some dough we have prepared early and make small balls out of it
Stretch it in your palm (grease your palm with oil)to make a thin layer. Then take a channa dal ball which is bigger in size and keep it in the centre. Cover from all sides.flatten it with hands and palm to form a round shape
Now dip it in rice flour and roll it slowly .roll it as thin as possible
Now heat a tawa or pan and by frying it
When half cooked you can put some ghee or butter if you like
